Precision machining of parts and components products is very high precision, once there is a large error will lead to the product can not be used. So in the process of precision machining, which factors will lead to errors.

No matter what kind of processing method, there is no way to ensure that it is exactly the same. Therefore, it is possible to have errors. As long as the errors are within the specified range and will not affect the normal use of parts, this situation is allowed.

What are the errors in precision machining


1. Machine tool error. This includes the spindle rotation, transmission chain and guide rail and other aspects of the abnormal error, these errors will affect the accuracy of the workpiece after processing.

2. Positioning error. This error includes the errors caused by misalignment of datum and inaccurate positioning.

3. Fixture error. If there is inaccurate position when using the fixture, then it is likely to lead to geometric error, and this error has a great impact on the size of parts processed.

4. Measurement error. This error is caused by the inaccuracy of the measurement method or the incorrect use of the measuring tools during or after the processing of the parts.

5. Tool error. Each kind of tool may wear when it is used, and the size or shape of parts may change after wear.

These are the common error factors in the process of precision machining, once the error is too large, it will lead to the whole process of white dry, so we should reduce the possibility of error before processing.
