This paper introduces the structural characteristics of star gear transmission, analyzes the reasons for the uneven load distribution between star wheels in star gear transmission system, puts forward the estimation method of the manufacturing and installation errors of each component and the equivalent errors of the component with equal load, and establishes the calculation formula of the coefficient of equal load. The case analysis shows that the load distribution among the stars and wheels tends to be uniform without the special load sharing device, and the better load sharing effect can be achieved by only using the "active" connection of the basic components.
