Generally long thin plate flat workpiece (such as knife plate scissors) after quenching often deformation. Especially the thin cutting edge part, either convex or concave, it is difficult to correct. Later, a rapid water cooling straightening method was found out in the production practice, which has a good effect and the correction rate is more than 98%. The operation method is: the deformation of the workpiece horizontally placed, both ends of the wire binding lifting, so that the concave downward, heating to the normal quenching temperature, after the concave quickly immersed in cold water cooling, immersion depth is about the entire width of the workpiece 1/3 ~ 1/2. At the beginning of the cooling moment due to expansion and contraction of heat, concave surface appears concave.
